After spending a few hundreds on several card games recently
I think the ONE PIECE TCG would be the way to go moving forward
It definitely has memory value for me, especially since I enjoy watching the anime since young
Lots of nostalgia when I hear their OPs & EDs....
Anyway, after comparing with several other TCGs, I will try to do a quick summary
For their art wise, there are lots of dedicated original artwork illustrated for the card games only
This makes it worth collecting, combined with their highly sought after Manga Ver. cards
and different Special Ver. cards such as Wanted Poster SPs & etcs.
These special cards are really beautiful and holds high value
I would say their prices will definitely spike in the future, especially their booster boxes / cases
Also with the popularity of the anime among global audiences, the ongoing stories
I think the future sets are looking to get more crazy
Imagine when the Rocks Pirate, God Valley, Elbaf, all these manga arcs and characters
are being introduced into the cardset as SP rares in the future....
Definitely a lot of hype for fans and collectors to look forward to
Final Fantasy I would not recommend
Though I admire their cardback qualities
Their card arts are mostly just recycled from their game's archive
Like captured footages from their in-game CG, turned into cards
These are the worst
For Digimon TCG, its great actually
The cards are not too crazy in price too, if you were to collect
With tons of original illustrated card artworks
So far I got the best luck in pulling from them
But I think I've gotten my fill, and since I'm not playing
I don't think I will want to keep spending on them
For other card games
Vanguards have pretty cool artworks
Lots of awesome creatures and characters
But not playing, so yeap, not gonna continue buying
I've already gotten enough cool cards that I'm satisfied with
Then of course, about Magic the Gathering, MTG
I've definitely played enough for my fill last time (laugh)
I know the Secret Lairs are going for tons of cash grabbing reaching into different genres
But you know, totally not interested
The FF Collabs seems cool, but the arts are okay for me
The prices are kinda too overpriced, like Pokemon (woops)
But this game is very playable, and with the player base
Only whether you like playing or not
For me I just don't spend on physical magic cards after transitioning to MTG Arena
And I don't even play it nowadays
Only hopped back a little to craft some FF MTG cards and played a little Brawl
And its enough for me
Had my fill I guess

Finally gotten these Sengoku Taisen cards today
Though I can't play with them
Oh well, just admire their awesome artworks
Just bought a box yesterday
Its a terrible box, but I've tried to make it to good use
I've actually labelled all the packs with numbers from 1 to 24
And did a tabulation of which packs actually yields the Secret, SR, R, Leader & Foil Don
I've gotten the statistics and used them to pick out the packs from new boxes at mart
Unfortunately, didn't hit.
But, I think I should do a +1 - 1 with my numbers
Count from the Front, and from the Back
But due to financial contraints, I can't buy anymore
Oh well, next time
Another advice for beginner collectors or buyers
Don't really buy boxes or packs from Hako Outpost
Because most of these boxes and packs are already filtered out
The seller are definitely doing to earn positive value
Most likely they already opened up the sought-after secrets or special cards in their case
And sold the rest of their boxes as such
Same for the box packs, pulled the wanted, and sold the rest of the packs as loose packs
Its even more expensive than their MSRP price
I've spent $85 for a crap box, where the original value of the box is at $50
So the best would be to go down to a dedicated TCG Cardshop
Which I just found a new one, so near my place
Selling boxes at awesome cheap MSRP prices
Looking forward to visiting and perhaps asking around learning to play ONE PIECE
So yeah
八戒长肉了!
当时应该去太早了,造型还没弄好。。。。哈哈哈
